Mike Chase – Chief Executive Officer
After graduating with a Law degree from Nottingham Law School, Mike has over 20 years’ experience in running a diverse range of businesses in a wide variety of industries including healthcare, sport, retail, technology, and events.
Leadership roles include managing and co-ordinating large workforces, responsibility for corporate governance, relationships with regulatory authorities and complex financial administration and legal contracts.
Mike has been responsible for a number of successful business start-ups, specialising in strategic development, expansion and innovation and developing high profile contracts for the entertainment industry.
Dr Rajen Manicka – Chief Scientific Officer
Dr. Rajen Manicka is the founder and CEO of Holista Colltech Ltd, a research driven biotech company listed on the AXS (Australian Stock Exchange) focusing in the natural products biotechnology space.
After Dr. Manicka received a doctorate from LaSalle University, an MBA from the University of Strathclyde and an undergraduate degree from Universiti Sains Malaysia, he worked for pharmaceutical giants such as Roche and CIBA before deciding to follow his passion for making natural products.
Dr. Rajen used to lecture in alternative medicine in Universiti Malaya, Univesiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and International Medical University. He is also the Managing Editor of the Journal of Tropical Medicinal Plants – the only journal in the world that focuses on medicinal plants from the tropics. He has also served as Organizing Chairman of the three series of the Woman’s Health And Asian Traditional Medicine (WHAT Medicine).
Aristo Ariyaratnam – Chief Financial Officer
Aristo has accumulated over 20 years of escalating financial industry experience and expertise. Over his career, he has led teams and managed assets with a combined value of over $6 billion, developing a fine-tuned sense for risk management, outsourcing and people management along the way.
His ability to interpret and analyze demographic and geographic data compounded with his knowledge of compliance, SOP’s, risk mitigation and quality assurance recommendations gives him a unique edge in staying ahead of the curve to create on-point solutions. Aristo dedicates time to support the personal and professional development of the next generation of leaders through mentorship, training and performance management guidance.
Peter Santosh – Chief Marketing Officer
Peter’s expertise stretches across every aspect of marketing from strategy creation to design, SEO, marketing psychology, sales and Agile project management. He has worked with as a consultant for agencies and large multinationals worldwide. Over the last 15 years, he has developed a cutting-edge marketing model which brings together all these components as part of a holistic model which advances the traditional digital marketing approach.
Having had his own marketing agency for over a decade, he has combined these skills with his personal interest in health, wellbeing and spirituality to ensure the best possible outcomes for everyone involved in the business whether customers, employees or stakeholders. Today he offers high-level consultancy, strategy development, training and support. Peter is a big proponent of lean principles and agile project management which he teaches as well as utilising in all of his work.
Board of Advisors
Dr Roscoe Moore – Until his retirement, Dr. Roscoe M. Moore, Jr. served with the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and was for the last twelve years of his career the principal person responsible for global development support. He was the principal liaison person between the HHS and Ministries of Health in Africa with regard to the development of infrastructure and technical support for the delivery of preventive and curative health needs for the continent.
Dr. Moore received his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees from Tuskegee Institute; his Master of Public Health degree in Epidemiology from the University of Michigan; and his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Epidemiology from the Johns Hopkins University. He was awarded the Doctor of Science degree (Honoris Causa) in recognition of his distinguished public health career by Tuskegee University.
Dr. Moore served as an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). He was with the Center for Veterinary Medicine, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), before becoming Senior Epidemiologist within the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, CDC. He directed the Epidemiology and Biostatistics Program and was an Assistant Professor of Oncology within the Howard University College of Medicine Cancer Center.
Dr. Moore has conducted epidemiological research on a number of chronic and molecular diseases; for example, lead toxicosis, occupational and environmental cancers, and sickle cell disease. He was involved in the development of a sustainable infrastructure for the surveillance of emerging and re-emerging diseases worldwide. He continues to be involved in issues of terrorism (and bio-terrorism), the evaluation of vaccines, the safety of bio-engineered foods, food security, Avian Influenza (H5N1, H1N1), and disaster response and crisis mitigation.
Dr Arthur Martin – Member of Holista Colltech’s Scientific Advisory Board. Dr. Martin created the technologies behind Path-Away®. Dr Martin graduated from New England Institute of Technology where he studied HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) and Refrigeration Engineering. He also attended Bristol Community College and Northeastern University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering with a focus on Biology, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, as well as a doctorate in Engineering Management.
Led by Dr Martin, GICC LLC has designed specialised equipment and processes to use Path-Away® to improve the air quality and safety of buildings such as airports, transportation hubs, hospitals, schools and factories worldwide. Dr Martin has provided consultancy services to private companies and numerous governments over the past four decades. More recently, with the use of Path-Away®, he assisted the government of Malaysia during the H1N1 outbreak in 2009, and the government of Singapore during the SARS outbreak in 2003.
He has personally conducted tests in excess of 5,000 building environmental pathogen assessments and lectured in over 24 countries. He is sought after for his expertise in designing cleanrooms for hospitals and pharmaceutical manufacturers and is considered one of the world’s leading experts on the control of the spread of pathogenic bio-aerosols in buildings.
He is also a member of the World Health Organization’s (WHO) STOP T.B. (Tuberculosis) Board. In 2011, he was recognised for his work in preventing the spread of TB with a nomination for the prestigious KOCHON Prize, awarded annually by WHO. He is also a Chief Scientist of Bioklyn Biotech, Inc. based in the Science & Technology District, Tianjin, China.
Dr Martin’s work has garnered several awards from other organizations such as the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers. He also received special recognition for his work and commitment to spreading his knowledge and technology to the world by the International Trade Administration of the United States Department of Commerce. He has also delivered speeches in over a dozen countries and was appointed Keynote Speaker at conferences sponsored by several governments and the building and medical industries.
Dr Swanand Malode – Dr Swanand graduated from Sagar University with a Masters in Pharmacognosy, and further went on to acquire a Doctorate Degree from Johns Hopkins University and Post Doctorate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, researching on Nano Materials and Nano Medicines, developing Novel Drug Delivery Systems.
He has served as Project Associate on Nano Medicine for the US Department of Defense and is currently working as consultant on Food, Pharma, Cosmetics, Agriculture & Nutraceutical Industries worldwide.
On commercial level, Dr Swanand is involved in the manufacturing of Water Soluble Range of Fat Soluble Molecules, Water Soluble Oils, Oil Powders, Highly Purified Herbal Extracts, Highly Purified Oil Extractions, Phospholipids, Liposomes, Nano-Materials, Nano Coatings and Conducting Polymers.
Further to that, he is involved in research on various drug delivery systems and new product development for Holista Colltech.
Dr Swanand has received various awards for his work and he is in the list of first few Scientist who commercially availed Nano Materials and liposomes. He is a member of various scientific organization such as Nanotechnology World Association, The Graphene Council, IJLS, IPR, ISCC and is an advisor to groups like Nano Biomaterial, BioChips, Science-prenuers.
Ahmed Bashir MBE – Ahmed Bashir is an internationally recognised, entrepreneurial strategic leader commanding extensive portfolio experience planning, reviewing, and implementing global governmental campaign initiatives. Honoured for his cross-departmental work on diversity and inclusion.
He has years of experience working for The Department Of International Trade, HM Treasury, The Foreign and Commonwealth Office and was British Deputy High Commissioner to Nigeria.
Mr Bashir has recently assisted international governmental officials to secure medical equipment assets and facilitate sales valued up to $200m during the Covid-19 crisis, and launched a ‘Green is Great’ sustainability programme as a stellar showcase marketing strategy for UK ESG.
